A colorful, extravagant movie I’ve watched a number of times. If they remade this today, they’d make it devoid of color and the Tongs wouldn’t be caricatures of Chinese lore but gritty, tattooed & “real” aka boring. I watch the Ten Commandments every year when it’s on because it is a colorful, lavish and overacted masterpiece that is so beautiful to look at. Just my take that things don’t have to be historically accurate to be entertaining…I don’t expect history lessons from Hollywood, I expect to be entertained.

Exactly. When I go see a movie, which is now quite rare these days, I'm paying to be entertained and not to have someone push an agenda down my throat. That stuff I can get 24/7 in the Mainstream Media for free. For me, I go to get my mind off of stuff for a while, not to get it stuffed with information I don't want or need or necessarily agree with.

There was only one thing wrong with this movie - Bert Kwouk wasn't in it long enough! I'm a fan of him. I've also got to admit that Roger Delgado was a little distracting because I recognized him from his appearances as The Master on Doctor Who!

Hard to watch this, i am a vintage chinese kung fu and wuxia fan watched litterally 1,000 of them and then this, what is this ridiculous parody western actors with make up to make them look chinese ?! Note that i am westerner and the whole movie is off and unrealistic.
