jeez, he should not be just going and sitting somewhere alone! If he had gotten hit hard enough he could've ruptured a blood vessel in his head and have internal bleeding. It doesn't take too long for blood to build up in the skull and cause brain damage, or even death. They should've kept a constant eye on him and gotten some kind of medical help for him soon. Head injuries, even smaller ones are no joke

Lmao I was looking for this comment. My brother had gotten hit pretty bad in the head playing tetherball and I remember being on the phone with 911 dispatch and she was telling us to make sure he doesn't sleep or close his eyes, ask him questions like name, dob, what day, what year etc to check for concussion, also checking for vomit and seizures as these are evidence of traumatic brain injury. It's so dangerous cuz of the fact that there isn't a lot of space in your skull and if you get smacked hard, inflammation could kill you. There could also be clots forming from the injury which could pop at any point and cause an aneurysm

I know im late to this comment but what kind of medical help do you think is out there during a storm? Do you think an ambulance can just pull up and say hello. They would have to go to port, since probably in that kind of a storm even the coast guard would be hard pressed to get to them.

Why not they wear hard hats ?
@mavoc3094

Hard hats are great for deflecting small falling things, less so for large heavy objects that move sideways. Hard hats in general would just slow them down and get in the way.

@@mavoc3094 Yeah no hard hat on earth is going to protect you from something that weighs as much as a small car swinging in the wind. Like Josh said "those pots can pop your head like a pimple"... Lol... Little bit of his old man coming out there.
