We don't have them available as separate parts, just included with this version of the Giro. - Kat

@reidly Theoretically, yes, but we haven't tested it. I think they have the same nozzle, though. - Kat

I can see where budget is so important in purchasing these devices. If you don't spend "enough" for a solid machine, you have to deal with quality, build, and operational trade-offs. Thank you for the review of the unit.

I don't really love this machine; if you are interested in getting a simple superauto, the Saeco Xsmall is a great choice. They all have the same brew group and brewing technology, so will all have the same coffee flavor. It could be that your parents' machine is setup differently than yours was regarding coffee and water ratios or that they're using a different style of bean. Hope that helps! - Kat

@randycha813 We don't really endorse anything around here; we just test and provide info because there is a market for every machine and this guy will be the right fit for someone out there :) - Kat

@MissouriMatt54 Definitely; I think that's what is important for people to consider -- what do you want and then what is your budget? If what you want is outside of your budget, you gotta make some concessions (or save up more) :D - Kat

Sorry, I'm writing since spain. I've got a saeco S-class incanto rondo. My question is if it's possible to get this piece to add to my machine. I like your work with these videos to all the people who likes the coffee. Happy Christmas and a happy New Year

Saeco does make a cappuccinatore for the Incanto, it looks the same but the attachment piece is different. It looks to be fairly widely available, unlike the Odea version.

Hi there - No, not that I know of. The Rondo has a different steam wand setup, too (at least, the models in the US do) so I don't think this would fit your machine, regardless. Sorry! :( Hope you have a wonderful 2013!! - Kat

@Gig103 They seem to perform similarly in regard to the actual milk consistency, but you have ultimate temp control if you steam it with the wand and you don't with this guy. Personally (and this is from someone who doesn't drink milk drinks :D), I'd stick with the wand. - Kat

Aren't there are milk containers that are fitted with a cap that holds such hose? Possibly even cooled ones so you dont have to return it to the fridge after each cup? That would work very well with an attachment like this :-)

Will this work on a Saeco talea giro plus? In the specifications It says not, but I can't see any reason why It should not work. The steampipe is exactly the same....

@klarinetta Properly made USA cappuccino is 5-6 oz. Most places that claim to make cappuccino in the States just make a huge latte and add foam to the top --- not right at all. As someone who's traveled to Italy many times, I appreciate the classic Italian cappuccino and macchiato, and I have to make them at home.

I currently have a seaco magic delux (older version) it has finally broken on me and looking to purchase another machine, after reading tons of reviews it looks like this machine is the winner in my eyes, but i'd like to know will it compare to the cups i was getting out of my other machine, i'm not really a capachino person either, just cream and sugar. My parents have the Saeco Incanto Deluxe which i thought was ok but it tasted weaker than my machine and like it strong. Let me know! :)

It would; personally, I didn't love the functionality, but I don't love them in general, really ;) So ... I wouldn't drop the extra money on this functionality. It is nice, though, that you can do this or a wand - Kat

does the xsmall have a 10 gram coffee setting? i noticed it wasn't adjustable. i just want to make sure i get a good strong cup out of the thing :D thanks again.

Can the cappuccinatore be purchased as a seperate part for the Giro Plus? The model # doesn't show on Phillips' US site, is it even available stateside?

@PianoKwanMan In USA cappuccino is around 8-10 oz when in Italy and most other countries in Europe it's only around 5-6 oz. Like one world coffee judge and owner of a cafe here in Iceland were most of the Icelandic national coffee team works at said to me "We have the cappuccino no more than 6 oz and people can just have two of them if they want".

So a week ago I got a Seaco Odea coffee maker,it was a present for my birthday. The other day I made 2 coffee's,everything was perfectly fine. On the next day,the machine wouldn't make anymore coffee. When I turn it on,this icon that looks like a key,is flashing - green color. I know it shouldn't flash,it should just stay on. According to google: Flashing quickly (multiple times per second): The machine is too warm, dispense some hot water to cool down the machine. There is not any hot water..? I did change it,tried anything but it just won't stop blinking. Please any fix for that? What should I do?
