Extremely happy for Venkatesh. Was retained ahead of Gill, had to bear the brunt of all his Shubman's success with GT, winning the trophy in 2022 and making finals in 2023, while his own form and KKR languishing in the points table. Now he has repaid KKR back in full. Shubman won the IPL in 2022, Venkatesh has now won it in 2024. All his haters, will be 🤫 for 1 year.

And this season his bowling was just next level. Totally justified his price tag. And what to say about Mamba King Magician Sunil Narine. He gave an absolute all timer of a season this year. Stunned even me by the way he batted this season. No one expected him to play like this as an opener. And his bowling was just top notch this season. So happy to see KKR win after 10 long years💜💜💜

Thunderous Dominance from KKR. 💜 Tough luck for SRH but Pat Cummins actually had low confidence on his batting order. After Head, Abhishek and Klaasen, it's a flaky middle order with lots of inexperience. If he had a little more complete batting line up like KKR, he would have definitely have bowled first in all the 3 games, including the one vs RR. STARC was 🔥.

It's not about bowling it's about pitches being tricky or not being able to chase 200+ targets against good bowling attacks .... All their big scores came on highway pitches and the moment ball started to swing or grip ... They had no answers ... Head who was looking invincible even his weaknesses were exposed for everyone to see ..... RCB had a much more solid batting line up with 6 of their batters contributing and being consistent as opposed to only 3 batsmen in srh .....

Starc is a huge big game performer, Narine and Andre have tons of IPL experience, Varun and Rana bowled really well throughout the tournament, so it is not easy to score runs of KKR bowling attack. Also they brought a different kind of intensity today that folded SRH under 6 RR

Gautam Gambhir was right about how broadcaster control the narrative. In a game about KKR and SRH, they dedicated a whole 10 minutes on Virat Kohli. Simon Doull was right about criticism, are we not allowed to provide positive criticism? Why is it always Virat Kohli? They spoke more about Kohli than they spoke about Narine, Starc or Russel combined. If Virat scored 700 runs, Bumrah bowled with fire at an economy of less than 7. Just ridiculous at this point.

There was no dew, and Chepuk pitches usually get slow which is why Pat wanted to bat early. RR vs SRH match should give you the idea of the thought process behind choosing to bat first. The thing is KKR bowled exceptionally well with a lot of intensity. SRH wasn't just 10 or 15 runs short; they were good 50-60 runs short in the game.

No matter how much u praise srh batting but one has to admit that they were out and out flat track bullies .... They even got lucky to end up top 2 by facing a depleted pbks .... The moment pitches got a bit tricky and their 2 openers went out cheaply .... Their entire batting line up crumbled ..... They really went ahead of themselves thinking everyday would be eat sleep score 250 and win ..... Hence proven big numbers or only 2-3 players contributing doesn't win u the ipl .... On the other hand kkr was the most balanced side .... And this match was not worthy of a final ... Such a one sided battle ..... Honestly the RCB vs CSK game had more hype and buildup and that was 10 times more close and exciting than the final ..... And had RCB been in the finals it would have been much more closely fought finals ...... Srh really just became like RR in the playoffs .....

Head didn't take the 1st over, and instead exposed Abhishek to Starc, bcoz he didn't want to face Starc, in the 1st over. Ultimately, he fed the youngster to the wolves, and then fell later, in the over to Arora, still shaking at the thought of contending with Starc. Head always opens the innings otherwise.

It only discredits Head, for not having the courage to face up to Starc. Starc did what he always did. Destroy the top order. Head is Starc's bunny, in domestic cricket and BBL. And it's not 3, but 2 matches, bcoz in the first KKR vs SRH game, Head wasn't playing. The only reason, why other fans don't know about Head's struggles vs Starc, is bcoz they play for the same international team. So, in intnl cricket, Head has the good fortune of not having to play Starc. Head has 4 🦆s vs Starc in 5 innings prior to this, including Q1.

Gill never played a clutch innings, like seriously dude?? In his first ever IPL playoffs match against RR in 2018, he scored a match winning 50, and his partnership with DK helped KKR win that game. Even if we talk about India, his thrashing of Mitch Starc at the Gabba paved the way for the famous victory. I mean spitting agenda is okay, however spitting shit is not. 😂😂
