This innings of 68 runs in 38 balls was excellent which was much needed for Rohit to give him his lost confidence before t20 World Cup but neither it proves that he is still a good t20 batsman as it came after 6 complete failures so even the most ordinary batsman will score runs once in a while nor it proves that he had a very good overall season because for an opening batsman, even 440-450 in 14 innings is an average season whereas he scored 417 so he had another poor IPL season but by his standards, he had a wonderful season as since 2017, he has hardly scored runs in IPL.

​​@@snehalkhatri9357That is just what I said that he had another poor IPL season as apart from 49 he scored vs Delhi, none of his 40+ innings helped Mumbai win any game and also it is a big myth that scoring 400+ runs in a season is a good achievement because even if you score 400 in 14 innings, it means average of 28 something which is not good at all so as opener in 14 innings, at least 480+ runs can be called as a good season, 440-450 as average and anything less than that is poor.
