I wish some other countries could also have their respective official channels to show us the HD matches and clips from their archives

Winning the toss and sending Matthew Hayden, in the prime of his career, in to bat at the Gabba. I dare anyone to find a worse decision by a Test Captain.
@shikhargovil95793 жыл бұрын
1:01 hayden mentioned in an interview that he did'nt liked to play this shot as he sometimes was not able to watch the ball for that shot and hence lost control over it. but even his weakness were very difficult to exploit because of his dominance and the way he bullied the bowlers by hammering them.

How to lose the Ashes on Day 1. It must haunt poor Nasser to this day. Hayden/Ponting put on 250 for 2nd wicket. 325/1 Ouch. 6:17 is that iconic Hayden shot we remember and copied by kids world wide. Brutal and so demoralising for any fielding team.

A million times better than that punk Michael Slater, but the NSW bias in selection saw Hayden have to wait behind him for 6 years. When given his opportunity, he took opening batting to a supreme level.
