Does the cricut have to be set up through bluetooth or can I just use internet

Bluetooth connects devices directly to each other, like your phone to headphones, without needing the internet. It's a local, short-range connection for sharing data or audio between devices nearby. Since the Joy and Joy Xtra don't have USB ports like the other Cricut machines they can only connect via Bluetooth to either your computer, phone, or laptop. 😊🌻

Before sending your Cricut Joy Xtra back, try a few troubleshooting steps as frequent connection drops during updates could be due to Bluetooth issues, outdated firmware, or interference from other devices; try unpairing and re-pairing your machine, ensuring your device's Bluetooth is turned on, and checking for available firmware updates on both your Cricut and your computer/iPad.

I am considering this system. In fact, I am now looking for reasons not to get one, and other than "Do I really need another costly machine?" I am not really finding many reasons not to get one. I do not have a laptop or desktop computer in my craft room, but I do have an iPad tablet. I am very much a desktop computer person, and have concerns that the iPad may pose issues or difficulties. Can you comment on that? Like, I like my physical keyboard and I like the larger 24" screen I have with my desktop, but most of all I like the control I have choosing which drive and folders (PC lingo not Apple 😉 ) that my data goes into. I have to wear readers now just to see print anymore.

One more question: How to cut again? Noticed that on all the other cricuts even the orginial joy, I can cut again without unloading. Don't need a material specific setting but just in case in just didn't cut on this one cut. Haven't once seen it pop back up to rerun on anything that I have cut on the Joy Xtra, including smart materials
