Im from southern appalachia & we are all military/police in my family & people really don't know what its like in the south. My wife is from Maine & she didnt believe how different people are. People from up there arent soft either, Maine is roygh country but they still arent cut out the same stuff as us. Lol

I can agree with that my friend. My wife has some kinfolk from Minnesota. Rough ass winters up there! They are pretty tough. It's just hardscrabble down here. Hard to make a living. I've worked since I was a little kid. Always had a job. That's just Arkansas. You have to work to eat. Hunting, fishing, shoveling, picking. Anything to put food on the table. It don't make a damn what it is. I think that's the difference.

@@JCOwens-zq6fd my Mom was a Finley, and Dad's side was the Bakers. Mom's side leads back to John Finley that first took Daniel Boone into Kentucky. I didn't know that til last year when my wife's Grandma did some DNA testing and genealogy stuff. John Finley was an Indian trader in the territory before it was Kentucky. Good news is Daniel Boone got all of the credit!
