What a ridiculous 1st scene scenario. You've got them in a cabin, and you have 2 with long ranged, scoped rifles, and 2 with AK47s...so you have the SNIPER move up, put down his gun and look in, the ONLY window Rayland happens to be hiding beneath. What a joke!

@@Nickel5555 Some holes in your logic. The sniper is no good to them. That's a long term gain and they are far from home with no backup. They have no idea what law enforcement or hill people are coming to kill them. Also, not a lot of windows in that little cabin and one of them just had two shots come out of it. Also, even if these killers were incompetent, which they are not, having incompetent killers isn't bad writing because most killers are incompetent.

So I know I am coming in to this a day late and a dollar short, but Raylan is the MAN! His sayings and expressions are priceless, and he is a bad ass! I have never watched the series but plan to go back and do so now! I especially like the 2 neo-Nazi folks in the vehicle (not in this clip) where they stop and his car is ahead, but Raylan gets int he back. He asks them what is going on, they don't answer, and he fires the shotgun in between the two of them. When the driver starts giving him crap, he hits him in the mouth with the gun butt, and tells him "life as a fugitive is not an easy life", or something similar. Awesome!

The only thing that never made sense to me about the cabin shootout in season 1. Why did they kill Bo, and try to kill Boyd, but not even attempt to wound Raylan? Raylan was arguably the easier target to hit, and the person they were after. He was completely exposed, while Bo and Boyd had some level of cover being in front of him.

For people that don't know, Olyphant was incredibly close to being cast as Iron Man before they took a risk with RDJ. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but there wasn't that much "out smarting" going on,...mostly just jawin' and then shooting fellas. Turns out most of them weren't that bright. What's next, top five times Raylen "outsmarts" Dewey Crowe ?

It's not...its in California. If you watch the show you'd know this. And this series wasn't based in Tennessee it was Harlan,KY. If you've never watched it, do so...take a weekend and watch all 6 seasons.
