Since this is a Guillermo Del Toro film with Mr.Trickster God himself, Tom Hiddleston. I cannot help but be furiously PUMPED for this movie! I loved Devil's Backbone, Cronos, both Hellboy movies (Golden Army a little more,) Pacific Rim and REALLY LOVED Pan's Labyrinth. So, with so much awesomeness in his record books. One cannot deny that Crimson Peak is possibly, going to be awesome

Maybe it's the mysterious Victorian mansion setting, maybe it's because we all know what an amazingly creepy villain Tom Hiddleson can be thanks to his performances as Loki, but I for one would love to see him in an adaptation of Poe's works. I loved this Grace! You really seemed like you were selling the house. So optimistic about everything! Love your sense of humour btw. I'm going to watch the trailer on its own now, and I look forward to the movie, even though I don't enjoy horror films that much. This has a lot of visual potential at least! Ok! I've watched it now! I see the link between this and FSOG, probably got it from the music, that is really good btw. And also, I think the house isn't called "Crimson Peak". The crimson peak the wisperer warns her about is like a season or a time when the house "eats", or something like that.

The part with the vats of blood was kind of gross, and the reddish skeleton ghost thing was pretty obvious cgi (so, not so scary or threatening), but for some reason the hand at the end grabbing her shoulder really freaked me out! This looks like a great movie, though I may be too scared to watch it :)

I am excited for this movie. Always a fan of creepy gothic suspense and was a fan of Hiddleston in "Only Lovers Left Alive." Excited to see him tackle more artistic monster movies. I wonder if he and Mia Wasikowska will continue to remain attached at the hip with these creature features. :)

This room by room review was by far the highlight of my day. Though with the Stephen King quote at the beginning of the trailer I couldn't stop thinking about Rose Red, his own Haunted House mini-series. While Crimson Peak seems far more cinematic, I just don't know if I really need more Tom Hiddleston in my life, or another haunted house movie.

This reminds me of The Woman in Black & The Haunted Mansion together. The foyer reminds me of TWIB and the people being dead and living there for a long time is like Haunted Mansion. Looking forward to this movie since I really like Del Toro's work. Hope it's good.
