After finally escaping from Nibelheim Village, Zack makes it past some treacherous roads. Zack drops off Cloud at a near by hiding spot and checks the roads ahead. Dodging Shin-Ra robots and monsters, Zack finally makes it to a beach. Just at the moment where he feels that he's finally out of harms way, someone he hasn't since in a long time appears.

The irony of this is that, Tseng was not trying to kill them, but rescue them. If there wasn't any confusion and Cissnei had reported finding both Zack and Cloud it's possible that Zack would have lived.

@@Sara-cu9id Tseng follows orders. I wouldn't say he is good but he isn't bad either. He was friends with Zack and tried to help him survive but it failed. Shinra ordered to kill cloud and Zack after they escaped from imprisonment in a lab.

Maybe Cissnei blamed herself and decided to quit being a turk cause she's thinking that if only she have reported them immediately to tseng rather than letting them escape, Zack could've survived.

For some reason, that part where the clone ate his hair and then transformed made me think of Futurama; "Ohh ... I think there was some funny in that hippie ... DUDE, my hands are HUGE. And they can touch anything but themselves ..." LOL And don't me kill me people, but I actually quite like Cissnei. I don't like her and Zack as a couple, but she's a strong woman and a kind character.

I think Genesis' assumption is right as when his clone ate Zack's hair it received Jenova's cells and changed. What I DON'T understand is how/why Genesis doesn't already have Jenova cells. Hollander says he received them via Gillian. Even if he's saying he needs them directly, did he not receive them as part of the SOLDIER treatment (or is that just my incorrect assumption)? Finally, wouldn't ANY SOLDIER do (why Zack/Cloud) b/c they would've received Jenova cells as part of becoming a SOLDIER?

FF and KH have the same SE creators, scenario writers, character/creature designers, etc.. So even if it is 'coincidence'...it's the same ppl working on both projects and their ideas are bound to carry over from one project to the other (even unconsciously). Look at other SE games. You can tell that SE did them even though the stories are completely different (like FF7 compared to Parasite Eve).
