this is my most favorite scene in the game, it shows heroism over rivalry, also, when Zack tastes the Apple/gift of the goddess. we all thought Genisis died/fainted. But He is awake. also I love that music much as I love Loveless. and then when he leaves Genisis ShinRa soldiers takes him to get punished. also I love that moment when Zack gets surprised about the letter, and lastly him reading the loveless' verse is what what I like about him

Hahaha! I too find it interesting that so many people (myself included) like this guy. I'm really not sure if I would like someone so energetic in real life, but I love him as a character! Part of it is probably that his optimism is such an important contrast to the dark events of the story.

@darkheart407 He is taken by SOLDIER agents Nero and Weiss to Deepground and wanted to convince him to rebel against Deepground, he disagrees and seals himself in a cave, waiting for the moment to protect the world in Angeal's and Sephiroth's stead. In the secret ending to Dirge of Cerberus, he awakens and flies to out of the cave. It is unknown what happens to him after since there has been no information of what happens after DoC, but I assume that he is protecting the world as it's hero.

It kind of feels as he’s mind blown that him and cloud were in the lab for 4 years (or traveled a total of 4 years). But can feel the upset and sadness when he yells out ‘what do you mean final letter?!’ Like she’s breaking up with him, and Zack doesn’t want that. Thus led for motivation for Zack to go to midgar and see aerith.

I can actually answer a few of those, and the most general answer is that a lot has been retconned over the years. Last question is answered by a combonation of the two - Aerith did save it by herself, using the souls of the Lifestream, who allowed her use. The Ancients worked together with the Planet. Hojo - as far as FFVII is concerned - did die before Sephiroth. However, the Lifestream may have rejected him due to his injecting Jenova's cells into himself, hence his reappearance in DOC.

I suggest you check out DOC again. Hojo wasn't physically alive in DOC, it was virtual version of himself in body of Weiss.

But I don't think Hojo returned in DoC because the lifestream may have rejected his soul, but instead because he had the idea of uploading his data to the network precisely because he knew he was dying. It's just a shame Vincent didn't arrive to the Mako cannon some 15 minutes earlier or so xD

Actually, Sephiroth was dead once Cloud threw him into the Mako Pit in the Nibel Reactor. With immence amount of Mako there, Sephiroth would have sustained Mako Poisoning as well as death. Of course, he was braught by the Lifesteam to the Northern Crator to heal the wound by Jenova's Meteor, and there he remains until VII.

Sephiroth became part of the lifestream at the end of final fantasy 7 after meter was destroyed by the shinra mana cannon and the holy materia. He was yanked out of the lifestream for ff advents children. Genesis however has been out of the lifestream twice and is still alive according to the secret ending of Dirge of Cerebus.

It contradicts many factors present in the Compilation (Aerith meeting Hojo in the Lifestream when he wasn't even dead, Aerith being aghast when meeting Zack in the Lifestream though she clearly sensed his death) and it wasn't included in the FFVII Ultimania. Maybe, if they want to make it an official novella, they will include it in the newest version of the Ultimania. I think it's improbable. It'd still be lovely is they did write a novella from Aerith's POV.

Well, basically, it's quotes from the Godess Minerva. From what I've heard of it, it's a play with no ending, and it can be interpreted in many ways. With Genesis, he's looking for what is refured to as "the gift of the godess", the true interprestion of which is a mystery. So, Genesis assumes at first that "the gift of the godess" is JENOVA cells, which is why he goes after Zack and Cloud... I think that's about right. ^^;

I also agree Hojo died before Sephiroth. It's not clear that we should assume Hojo is necessarily "alive" in DoC. Though it is possible his Jenova tainted soul was rejected I don't think he should be considered "alive" by opposition. He said in DoC: "I took it upon myself to distribute my data-- my mind, my knowledge, my inner being, across the worldwide network. (...) I survived in a virtual reality." [cont.--->]

Yes cloud is drowsy with the mako effect and also he got stabbed by sepiroth and the reason y they r called monsters is because of what sepiroth did and they aren't actually monsters wings, but an angels wing also the people who have mako in them or even monsters will fade away into the life stream

Aerith sending out the animal = actually she ask Tseng to give her 88 messages to Zack, the animal there was the only successful courier so the total is 89. Aerith knows Zack is Dead = Don't know 'bout that. Zack only says to Cloud when he is up. "When you see Aerith, Say Hi for me." Cissnei = shes on a rescue mission on Zack well it failed. damn i cried on ending.

Hojo was plenty dead after Aerith died. Aerith died not even mid-game, whereas Hojo died near the end of the game. Aerith had sensed Zack's death but had not exactly sensed Zack before meeting him - she was clearly in denial, and she wasn't sure it was him until he came around. Let's not forget her talks with someone who died BEFORE she did, like President Shinra, who clearly had a better grasp of how the Lifestream felt and looked. I think it's plenty canon.
