Some of the best "rock" music I have found is post punk. '78-82...so many interesting records released in those years. Peel had a good ear (golden in fact) for new music. If it has a Peel Sessions recording it is usually darn good stuff.

Saw them in 79 at the duke of wellington balls pond road and in 1980 at Guildford uni supporting Magazine/ Bauhaus on tje day ⚒️ won the cup !! Brilliant days 🍾🍾
