Ab Really enjoy and appreciate all your videos. Realize this is chicken. However, our turkey meal butterball. Same concept with butter herb bath. We use a brown bag. Yep large brown bag. The herb butter all over exterior of bag. Insert turkey inside. Fold the bag and secure, we use regular clothes pins That were soaked in water. While cooking base with jucies from pan. Once cooked, let it rest with bag opened. Place on player carved. Comes out beautifully golden brown and sooo juicy. Good southern cooking!!!!! Have you cooked this way???

Ive been using salt water brine for many years. Thats what we use in Louisiana and Texas.. One thing I didnt hear him cover and is extremely important...If you decide to season after the brine.. Go easy with salt because it will be to salty.. If possible, try not to use hardly any..Because the meat will have enough salt from the brine. Also, if you dont pat it dry after the brine. It will be to salty. Some people actually rinse after the brine to remove the salt..

Remember big bro, we’ve got to get that temp down to between 32-40 degrees, while brining. (I’m sure the outside temp did the job, but the followers need to understand NEVER NEVER EVER, store poultry at higher temperatures). Anything higher is the danger zone for bacteria growth .
