Gotta love how the "generous" amount of oil is actually the same as what's a "drizzle" with many other YT chefs :D

What a great idea for a quick lunch. The garlic powder saves the effort of frying fresh garlic with the bacon - I’ll definitely give this a try.

Glig thanks so much. This is my least watched video but one of my favourite recipes. Honestly, whenever I’ve made it for people, they’ve absolutely loved it. Please try it and tell me what you think.....

Looks like a perfect summer dish! We finally got some warm / hot days coming in germany, so I'm definitely going to try it. I also really like that it uses ingredients I can actually get my hands on... Except garlic Powder... May need to search a bit for that one.
@CookingwithChefDai8 жыл бұрын
+Anton Reinecke thanks a lot. Do they not sell garlic powder in the dry herb and spices section at your local supermarket? Where in Germany do you live?
@mrmastaofdesasta69948 жыл бұрын
+Cooking with Chef Dai I just never really paid attention to this spice. Turned out it was easier to find than expected, so there's nothing in the way of making it tomorrow! Oh, and I live in Hamburg (Is that the english name too though...?)
@CookingwithChefDai8 жыл бұрын
+Anton Reinecke top man! That's great...I hope you enjoy it. I've been to Hamburg a couple of times before, you're lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world!!! Many Japanese living there too....

You could also try to bring the hot spaghetti straight into the bacon pan with tongs and toss with the bacon fat and bacon instead of needing extra oil. This will infuse the flavour throughout the pasta. Add some Modena balsamic vinegar, pepper, fresh arugula, baby spinach, sea salt (or soy sauce) and Thai or sweet Italian basil.
@mrmastaofdesasta69948 жыл бұрын
One doesn't simply use any other oil than olive oil on pasta!!! xD ...Seriously though, Olive Oil gives this really "italian" flavour, so i think it's in there for a reason.

if you ever happen happen to make a dish and have it recorded, an then realize that it doesnt taste good or you dont like it. PUT IT UP ON KZbin... there are a couple of channels i watch (runnyrunny999, foodwishes) that have done that and its funny! at the end of the video when they are tasting it, they are like, ''well that didnt work right!,...on second thought dont make this'' its very rare but funny.
