Hey guys!! Thanks so much for joining me today for this recipe. It was created by Heavenly Fan (her video is linked in the description). ❤️ I added a twist that I definitely feel like makes it even more amazing! A few things to note, these fries are the best fresh, tossed in a little bit of salt! Also, I preferred the coconut flour recipe but you can adapt it to the almond flour too! I hope you enjoy and please go support Heavenly Fan as well ❤️🥳

I was hesitant to try these, but just did. The moment the first batch came out, I seasoned with adobo, pepper and a bit of onion powder, put in my mouth and then time froze! I wasn’t expecting it to taste so much like an actual French fry and it did! I asked my non-keto husband if he thought it tasted like a French fry and his response was “what do you mean? It is a French fry, no?” !!!!

GREAT idea using a ziploc bag. I made a double serving (mixing coconut and almond flour recipes) and rolled the dough in a gallon ziploc freezer bag. It was the PERFECT size bag and foolproof method to roll the dough into a square with appropriate thickness. Cut the ziploc bag on the edges to remove the dough and then use a crinkle cuttter (as seen in black tie kitchen's video) to form the fries.

This is a game changer 🙌. Thank you sooo much. I made this a few hours ago and they are delicious. Has anyone tried them on an air fryer?

I did mine with paneer as I have no Parmesan. Kind of combing serious keto with heavenly fan and low carb love. Tasted great although I need to make them thinner.

I'm so excited! I tried these and they are the closest to French fries out of the other foods I've tried. For example zucchini and jicama.

I think we will have to try these!! I love how crispy they appear.

You have to!! I tested it out with so many things to make them crispier and this was a winner! They’re addicting so if you make a large batch, you can freeze and fry them the next day!

Been meaning to try this for a while.. finally did and so glad that I did! I didn’t have Parmesan cheese so I used shredded Mexican cheese. My 4yr old daughter and I love them! Can’t wait for my husband to get home from work so he can have some. He’s looking forward to it! :) Actually made the dough ball two days ago but then got busy and was trying to finish other leftovers. Finally got to finish making the fries today. I’ll definitely continue to make the dough ball in advance in the future. Saves you time when you’re ready to start frying them. Hope they freeze well!

Okay. I'm a very picky eater, and just this week I started going full keto. Let me tell you, these "fries" are awesome. No, they don't taste _EXACTLY_ like fries but they definitely taste similar, and they scratch that itch. When compared to fries, they are crunchier and fluffier than normal, but well salted and with ketchup, these bad boys go a looooong way. I love this recipe, and I am definitely making these again--but probably with some more seasoning

Replacing french fries but still using ketchup isnt doing Keto. Ketchup is literal sugar with tomato (which is a starchy vegetable).
@lordmango60603 жыл бұрын
@@RoderickVI there is such a thing as keto ketchup.

1) Could these be made in an air fryer? 2) Could some other cheese be substituted for the parmesan? 3) Thanks for this video! I just subscribed. 😊

I tried these yesterday and i think I used too much water as my dough was very soft, but I was very impressed. I did add a small amount of seasoning to the mixture which I think helped the flavour. I will most definitely be making them again 👍👍👍

Hey I know you do fasting as well as doing keto, so I was wondering if you could do meal ideas that fulfill the nutrients needed within 1 meal? I love your videos btw! ❤️

Can't wait to try! I've been relaxing my keto since I'm at my target weight with somewhat starchier vegs, but then I guess I get thrown out of keto and am SO STARVING during my IF fasting period. I also gain weight back really fast. (I check on the scale almost daily). Anyway, for cheat days, I'll still fry up peeled, sliced jicama (OMG! I love jicama, raw or fried!) or fried plantains (they are harder not to mess up though). I make tostones from the green plantains-crunchy outside & chewy inside. I follow the Puerto Rican recipe.

I made these tonight and I have to be honest they were ok. My husband did not enjoy them as much as I did. I think they they tasted a little bit like French fries but they did not get as crispy as I would have liked and I pan fried them in a cast iron skillet. He's on low carb and I am not. I doubled the recipe because there is 2 of us and I think my fries were too thick. I might try and make these again.

My girl really is up in the kitchen doing chemistry like a mad scientist Martha Stewart just so we can still enjoy all the foods!!🙌🙌👏👏👏 I 100% recommend these! They are crispy and delicious! 😃🤨 I actually recommend these more! I think everyone should eat these even if you aren't keto because its healthier than the sugars created from potatoes

These were amazingly delicious. Just a warning if you try to make them, if you put too many in the oil together at the same time they end up sticking together because of the cheese. I had to have a spatula and a fork to separate them. But again they were delicious and I can't wait to make them again.
