An automobile can not operate with a faulty engine. The 'engine' of the human body is not a huge organ, it is billions of tiny organelles. Perhaps it is their invisibility that has side-tracked medicine for generations and hindered us from realizing almost all disease states have their roots in metabolic dysfunction. Health of Mitochondria is paramount!

Changing my diet saved me from debilitating back pain, nerve pain, joint pain, muscle pain, digestive issues, raised blood pressure, 20kg over weight. It took around 8 months for all these problems to resolve. Since 2020 I've been completely pain free and never felt and looked healthier. I'm only eating fatty meats, seafood, eggs and dairy. Prior to that I was eating the mainstream version of a healthy diet (lots of veggies, fruit, whole grains, low fat, eating the rainbow etc) for decades and watching my health slowly decline. I learnt lots watching videos by Dr Ken Berry, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Gary Fettke, Dr Benjamin Bikman, Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Paul Mason etc. And these authors videos Diana Rodgers, Robb Wolf, Lierre Keith. I read this peer-reviewed scientific article, that shows how 2,029 people had amazing results on the diet I'm on it's called "Behavioral Characteristics and Self-Reported Health Status among 2029 Adults Consuming a Carnivore diet".

@@jboogs49the thing is, cutting carbs to little or none makes it easier. I have cut "calories" over and over and it was never sustainable. Even a "healthy" apple or bowl of oatmeal will have me craving more carbs. If I cut these foods (as well as processed grains, etc) all together, I have no cravings and can stick to a healthier WOE. This may change as I return to health, but I'll stick to low carb/keto for now.

Public health is in dire need of this information becoming provided by the medical paradigm, but given the 'capture' of the general medical system by 'profit at all cost' educational propaganda, not likely to be turned around any time soon. I was put on a diet when I was very young. It involved a lot of veg and bread (six slices per day the slogan at the time).Mind you the veg was fresher and local. My mother was told to give me chicken and fish. But as she had five children she could not afford good meats so we got a lot of potatoes bread and veg. Me on a diet I got less so I was always starving. And ended up my body stored any surplus so I just got fatter. Eventually after loads of health problems I was diagnosed b12 deficency and placed on injections. My GP asked what I ate I told her I needed a bar of chocholate to get out of bed I had no energy. Low mood all the things that goes with being overweight but nutriently starved. She advised red meat and I added butter. I take no potstoes now and only mushrooms and tomatoes and onions and peas. Cheese once per month and loads of eggs I dont drink milk. Fruit a few oranges in the Autum time. I am ketosis unless I have a holiday. But I do feel much better and the fat is disappearing in favour of muscle. I also take vit d and magnesium. Blue green algiae is killing our fish and also dogs who go into the water. Its the high volume of processed cheap foods that is killing us. Great viideo very informative. Thankyou

Isn't the fructose found in whole fruits beneficial for you because of the fiber?
@41hulas82 Жыл бұрын
No, it's less bad for you because of the fiber (fiber slows the absorption of the fructose so your liver doesn't get hit with it all at once, like with juice). It's still not good for you in doses over what is suggested in this video.
@we_are_all_the_same Жыл бұрын
People keep conflating high fructose corn syrup and fructose. Now modern fruit does have 30% sucralose and glucose and 70% fructose. So eating too much fruit isnt great cause it's gmo changed. However, these studies are on processed sugars, which are polysaccharides not monosaccharides. Sucralose and glucose fall in that category, not natural fructose.
@we_are_all_the_same Жыл бұрын
Natural fructose doesn't need insulin to get into the cell.
@jakobw135 Жыл бұрын
@@we_are_all_the_same I don't know where you get this notion that natural fruit contains anything other than the majority of not a hundred percent fructose the way it was originally designed. And also remember that even if your assessment of the different sugar is in the fruit is correct, the fibre in the flesh and the skin of the fruit mitigates the sugar spike.
