Drinker has truly toxic vision of men. Men cannot cry, men cannot show emotion, men cannot be emotional...THESE ARE REALLY OUTDATED VIEWS ON MANLYHOOD. THE REASON WHY I LOVE BATMAN is because he is emotional despite him being stoic and emotionless. When he shows emotion and cries, it shows he has deeper side of him...that he cares about people around him and he has heart even tho he never shows it. Other male characters that include being emotional and interesting because of it are Superman, Sonic, Pete Maverick, John Rambo (yeah REMEMBER WHEN HE BROKE DOWN IN TEARS AT THE END OF FIRST BLOOD) Spider-Man (both Peter and Miles) or Rocky Balboa. But I guess Drinker wants to see bland male characters instead of interesting one's.

The problem with the Craig era is that they sucked all the fun out of the series, its supposed to be pure escapism not a bad imitation of the Bourne series. James Bond should never drive around with a baby seat in the back or be blown up. It only makes me appreciate the Brosnan era even more.

@@Lithosagymfan173 The "proof" shows Drinker is right. Craig spent every movie moping over Vespa. The other movies referenced his wife across multiple Bond eras as an element of Bond's character; not as a central story arc. Craig's Bond was totally emasculated by current gender politics.
@Lithosagymfan1732 ай бұрын
@@theopenrepublic Or, maybe because James Bond back then was held back by men'a belief of always being tough and badass, and to never make too controversial and just letting it be fun with nothing of note. An example; when his wife dies in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, he was supposed to cry, but thrn the director did not want that cause "Men don't cry." Craig's Bond is a Bond that is fed up with the world, old and bitter, and mostly cruel and emotionless, him moping was him breaking down to finally be a real character and not some absolute badass who takes all the names.
