Super scary... Pitch black dark, and someone running at you with a large knife.....man police officers have a tough job!!!! Thank you for keeping everyone in this apartment complex safe!!!; The apartment complex should be forced to have lights on for the safety of every person that lives or is visiting someone in that complex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I toured this complex before moving to Nashville. Fun fact it has an old cemetery on the property. Very glad we chose to not rent here. Thank you to the responding officers for keeping our community safe.

I live in Bellevue, I’ve been here for over 40 years. The violence in this area is becoming overwhelming with all the population growth that Nashville has had. I pray a layer of protection by the Holy Spirit over this area and my neighbors, we have never had gun violence all the years that I’ve been here.

I live in Bellevue too. My complex is also dark. Literally went to talk directly to Nashville Planning Dept. There are NO LIGHTING STANDARDS for residential communities. WTH. Jeopardizing officer safety and citizen safety

I lived in that complex for a while on a temporary assignment in Nashville and never had any problems. Doesn't look like the officer had any choice. Moral of the story is; stay off the dope or you end up dead or in prison.

Tough job! Using deadly force is even tougher, but they did what they had to do. Many prayers for our boys in blue and for the man who lost his brother. Tragic event for sure.
