With so many people adopting pets during the pandemic, I hope that this doesn't result in a lot of them being abandoned once people go back to work.
@sweetpeabee49834 жыл бұрын
Oh no...I didn't even think about that. I really hope not! 😥 Also. While I'm here, can I just complain about all the new pandemic pets owned by my neighbors? One of them got a dog, and it barks SO MUCH. And the one downwind from me (edit: er...rather, that I'm downwind _from_ lol) got a cat, and I'm HORRIBLY allergic, so I just get puffy eyes and sneeze constantly now every time I open my windows and don't obsessively clean. Apartment life is so much more intolerable when everyone is at home all the time.
@Glorfindel_1174 жыл бұрын
Oh it will for sure. Honestly I don't think it's a good idea. All these people getting a dog for their kid until it's over, will then have to ruin their kids life when we get out by getting rid of the dog, or just deal with having a pet they cant take care of in addition to their normal life.

I live in Missouri, and the situation at the south of the state has been a point of great chagrin for me, especially since I work 70 hours a week as a supervisor on multiple crisis management hotlines. It's an incredible amount of work, and I hear so many heartbreaking tales from people in the trenches of this crisis, it just breaks my heart to see such a careless response, knowing how badly people are hurting every day. CR crew, (and that means ALL of you) I am so, so profoundly grateful for your contributions right now, it's genuinely helped me to hold it together on so many days that I wasn't sure that I could. And Matt, I understand the importance of keeping your creative mind running, I've just started back up on my personal DnD-inspired writings since a week or two before social isolation began, and I continue to reference the Wildemount tome you created with so many other talented individuals. My friends and acquaintences have made more of a regular effort to connect digitally, than we have for years in meatspace. My mom got surgery a few weeks ago and no-one could visit her and we didn't know what was going to happen. She went back to the hospital days after her surgery in much pain and we were all terrified. She pulled through and is doing better now. I still cannot see her yet obviously, but I know I will as soon as I am able. Ah man that word "tactile" is exactly the one I've been using when trying to describe why I feel so alone and lonely at home. I live with my family but they are all very introverted and I'm 24, I miss my friends and my life away from my family. If I wasn't still at Uni I would have moved out already. I really miss my friends, I miss having and living by a schedule and my ADHD is taking over my life. I have all the time in the world to clean up my room and I just can't seem to be able to do it. I'm growing more and more dissatisfied and melancholy. When it started I was excited to get a chance to calm down and figure stuff out but by now I'm just tired and sad. I'm glad that at least here where I live the end of the lockdown seems very near. We've apparantly gotten down to ten new cases a day and we might be able to cautiously return to a sense of normality soon. However, the semester is now over and the break will last until the middle of september. That means that even though I can finally go out again, I still don't have a routine schedule. I'll have to make my own but I don't really know how to do that let alone what to fill it with. I don't know why I'm typing this out, maybe it's just a stream of consciousness and ordering my thoughts. Maybe I'm trying to connect to people in the one way I feel I can. Hope you guys out there are all right and if you're also going crazy like me I wanna let you know that you're not alone. Maybe we can connect through our hearts even though we're a world and quarantine apart. I guess the Critical Role slogan has never been more true: Let us not forget to love eachother. And while it's a bit useless to wait or long for thursday at the moment we can all ask: Is normality anywhere back in sight yet? I love you fellow Critters. Knowing that all of you are out there makes me feel like I'm not alone. Like even though we're a world apart, we're all in the same boat, closer than ever before. Take care of yourselves out there. Creepy solo sneaking around the neighbourhood for a solitary nightwalk definitly ain't a crime right now. Finally Brian can just be a model citizen :P

At first I thought his hair had a pinky orange kind of peach tone. Might just be the lighting. By now he might have already dyed his hair the official color he wants but I think that kind of peachy pink tone would look great on him.

When my dad bought the home I grew up in there was a wild cat that was hiding in the barn. She would always watch us from a far and slowly started coming closer. We always called her the landlord kitty because she always had this look about her like she was judging us. After about 2 years she finally came inside the house but would never stay inside long. She would go into each room and then want back out. She truely was the landlord. She past away a few years ago and though I hate cats, I miss that one.

I just stumbled onto this last night after watching Critical Role. Thank you so much for doing this. As a teacher (with perfectionism and anxiety), trapped at home and working 14 to 20 hour days including weekends (because it's hard to walk away from work when it's in your kitchen and the kids know when you're online) since early March, the time has blurred into a mass of worry and work. Listening to you guys all talking has been a balm. Thanks again for your candor and including us in your lives.

Honestly, I always assumed they all knew each other super well so it's really cool to see Matt and Sam talk about how they want to get to know each other better. It's encouraging to see two adults who are good friends working at making and maintaining a friendship and that it doesn't just "happen" like I usually assume. :)

It’s great how easy conversation flows between the 3 of them. Sometimes it can be a bit harder to get someone to talk about shit, but Matt just came on and starting shooting the shit with his boys, it was fun to just listen in on it😂

I just wanna say how nice it was to hear them appreciate the people working during this time. My touristy retail job shut down for a couple of weeks, but has now been open for almost a month. Our town just made national news for failure to social distance, and we had our biggest tourist weekend in over a decade over Memorial Day. People have tried to physically fight us for enforcing a 10 person limit. We posted signs banning people who are visibly sick, and people come in and cough, uncovered on our entire selection. I have gone back on voluntary leave to protect my mom, and am lucky because it is unpaid but I can manage. but all of my best friends are still working, and my heart aches to think of them putting themselves out there to sell some shirts. And thinking of everyone who has to be in a similar situation makes me angry. Thank you for the mention, even though it might not seem like much, we all feel like no one appreciates the fact that retail workers are risking our health to make life semi normal again.

Rewatching this on Day 518 is such an insanely different experience. So much has yet to happen to the AWNP Boyz, even this far into the pandemic there is still so much that has yet for us to come with delta. I highly recommend a rewatch, puts a lot into perspective.

As an essential worker, thank you CR Crew. You honestly could have focused on your mental state and not posted anything in the recent weeks. I personally wouldn't have blamed you for doing so. I truly thank you for making the days easier. With the irresponsible and uncaring people I have to deal with on a daily basis, these upload really do help. (At least personally.) Once more I will thank you all for bringing a smile to my face and keeping me from slamming my face into a wall. Please do keep yourselves well. I only hope that the return to form is only in great health for all involved.
