"Suggesting" safety measures would also imply that this is a medical facility, with procedures, and laws. Anaesthesia is a field of medicine (which does use a lot of anesthetics) which, very roughly speaking, deals with puttin people (or just parts of them) to sleep and keeping them sleeping. Tl;Dr: Andsthetics are things anesthesiologists give patients when performing anaesthesia (don't blame me, blame the enlightenment era latin fetishists)

I call Tal's style of humor "joke sniping". Doesn't joke around too much, picks his targets, and the jokes he lets loose are the prime opportunities or moments of brilliance that, added with their infrequency, make them particularly funny. This can make for some of the best laughs. Think Ashley Johnson: when she sniffs her own underarm and is asked, "What do you smell like?" she answers completely honestly, "I smell like crayons." The entire room proceeded to laugh uncontrollably for at least 30 seconds. Tal does the same sort of thing. One of my favorite styles of humor.

Honestly, Bless is such a great spell... 1d4 sounds so small, but for saving throws and Attacks, where just 1 point often makes all the difference, its just awesome. After the water elemental fight, soon after joining the mighty nein, he instantly cast turn undead when he saw Fjord’s spectre. It’s also fitting for his job, as a graveyard keeper, to want to know when there are undead nearby. Imagine Caduceus waking up in the dead of night because there are undead banging on his window. Of course he wouldn’t want to be caught off guard by them. I imagine it’s like second nature to him, at this point.

At this point, it's more about getting the right buffs. They have two clerics, and heaps of money. They should be able to protect their DPS/tank from that sort of problem either via spells, or items.

Yeah I tpked my players because everyone dumped wisdom with a single Medusa at lvl 9, the tank barbarian rage quitted the campaign and the warlock started crying, I told them from the beginning I wasn't gonna save them if they fucked up and they indeed fucked up, good times 😋.
