Such pain (which I'm sadly very familiar with) should have thought you empathy by now? What was meant is that PoC and, as it happens, women, are often considered by the medical staff to be "exaggerating their pain level/threshold", being overly dramatical/theatrical about it...and so, it's even more difficult to get access to the right medication. I'm very lucky that my own physician who's known me for years isn't like that, but I have encountered such medical personnel before ( when if anything, I'm being very subdued about showing any pain when in public - even if often my face distorted by pain betrays me). So yes, you can get some light painkillers, in some countries, in a supermarket, but you're very well aware I think those won't do anything for people with backs literally broken in multiple places/sciatica or nerve pains...

I completely share his squeamishness. I'd even forgotten this was coming out until I saw it on my tickets screen. Looking at our showings, we had a whopping 7 people scattered through the three showings on my shift, which bumped up to 8 as I sold 1 ticket. What set my eye twitching was normally with a long title, everyone'll shorten it to one or two words. Just enough so I know what film they want, and I can cut down a fraction of the amount of talking I do on shift. Person buying the ticket really tried to be able to say the whole title, but I had them at 'pick your seat' before they could finish and seemed flummoxed that they wouldn't be able to say that last word. We've already got it down to just one of the smaller auditoriums, so hopefully it'll be done by next week. We need the space for more Kung Fu Panda 4, Dune 2, and Arthur the King.

I went on Fandango and every showtime had three or more seats taken at the exact same random spots for every showing! Harkins is the movie theater that is 100% doing it and I checked multiple locations like AMC and others and they did it for for a lot as well. Not every theater like Harkins but a lot.

What really sucks for is I worked in locations for The Get Down on Netflix. Justice Smith was the main character in it. He was really awesome to be around and a genuinely nice young man. Seeing him in this is upsetting.
