My Ivy episodes are Pretty Poison and Harley & Ivy. Rewatch Pretty Poison, you can see how lonely she is. For whatever reason. And she's emotionally attached herself to plants. They're all she has. Maybe that's why she's so against people, or because she's been hurt in the past. Being fueled by the hatred of how people treat the world that gives them the oxygen they breathe is fantastic. And then Harley & Ivy expands upon her character, allowing her to develop relationships and express more of herself.

Interesting that you think the villains come across as human beings in Almost Got 'Im because I find that it devolves them into caricatures of themselves. The stories they tell around the table are not interesting and the episode makes a joke out of them, most especially Killer Croc.

I acknowledge that the episode didn't resonate with you, I disagree. The point on killer croc specifically doesn't make sense to me at all because that WASN'T Killer Croc. It's kind of a genius move for Batman (in disguise) to make a joke out of him that way. Those Ivy episodes are really good too, but H&G was the one that impacted me the most.

I think it's ridiculous that Batman can disguise himself as Croc. That's some 60's stuff that doesn't fit the tone. And he's sitting there that whole time as the villains recount their failed plans to beat Batman. They never figure out that Croc is not Croc and they buy everything Croc says so they must find it true to who Croc is. So you have Croc and all the villains looking like clowns. People still to this day associate Croc with that episode. "I threw a rock at him".

@@Weezing336 "I threw a rock at him" is hilarious. Bruce regularly disguises himself throughout the show, not really an issue for me.

But Killer Croc? It's a little absurd. I just think the villains all look stupid but we all have our perspective. It's a fan favorite episode for sure.
