@ Holloway is clearly past his prime and has been since the Poirier war. Look at all his recent featherweight fights, he’s a shell of his old self. Holloway started in 2010 and peaked around 2017-2019 (normal timeframe). Aldo started in 2004 and peaked around 2013 (again, a normal timeframe). You must also remember that Holloway doesn’t spar hard and hasn’t had the injuries Aldo had. A washed Aldo beating good fighters doesn’t mean he wasn’t washed, that makes no sense. It just means a washed Aldo is still a good fighter. “Washed” isn’t just Ferguson or nothing, there’s a big space in between.
