In LTK's video, there's Torx heads on both sides of the pivot, but the pivot is D-shaped. It's a recipe for damage when someone tries to unscrew a screw that can't be unscrewed (unless the pivot is 3-piece).

Update Yupdate: I got a nice buck this morning and decided to try the Ritual on it. OMG this thing is a skinning machine! Their pajamas strip right off with this knife. It has the best profile of all the other skinners in the collection. WOW!

Going to pick one up,just because of the cool factor-practically,it's to heavy,even for a pocket sword.You want alot of blade with a reasonable weight to size ratio,go with a police four lightweight,or a halo five

The SpeedSafe patent just expired recently, so CRKT is now using that mechanism on their new assisted models.

I went to that mentioned website and was only confirming what he already had suspected... if you had watched the video and not just scanned the comments looking for people to try and correct or make them feel dumb you would have noticed that.

I would be pressed to say exactly what it's specific use would be??? But I don't think it would matter this Freaking blade is just one of those designs you just gotta have in your collection! Can you imagine this model Red anodized or Black micarta instead of the Blue? Would be nice if it came with stainless hardware instead of black.

I am seriously considering buying this knife. Do you think it's worth it? Though I'm not a huge fan of CRKT because so many of their knives are so expensive and are hardly in stock. This knife does grab my attention

I saw one at a Texas gun show today. It really sticks out as the flashy pretty boy of the CRKT lineup. It looks beautiful and it is pretty big for a pocket knife.

Not sure why. Lots of blades have that shape. Curve gives better cutting and slicing ability.

I really want to buy this, but I'm scared of it. I tried it in the store. Because the tip of the blade is so sharply curved, it swings out with the point like a pickaxe. I could accidentally stab myself with it, or damage something nearby.

That's part of the reason I love it. It swings out with apparent authority. It's like, "YOU NEEDED A KNIFE!? WELL, HERE IT IS"
