It's a fun little knife, I have one, yours isn't defective the detent really is just that light, it's not strong at all, if you manage to increase the detent strength let me know. It's very attractive, nice little letter opener. I use mine for fidgeting with, I've never even used it to cut anything, does have a nice thin blade geometry though.

At first I wasn’t a fan of the deployment, but a bit of oil and loosening of the pivot screw and a bit of breaking in and it’s smooth as butter. My only complaints - the blade was slightly off centre, and the tab for flipping was rather sharp on the edge, but It softens with use. I’ve used it for a good while now and has broken in rather nicely, I’ve sorted the blade centring and the deployment. Can feel it’s cheapness next to something like a Spyderco though.

The detent is weak but mine doesn't seem to bounce back like alot of others. Mine is just a fidget toy tbh but I do love the look and feel!

Always look forward to your uploads. I completely overlooked this knife when scrolling HH, it looks much better in hand. Is the pocket clip reversible? I’m one of those back pocket left handers.

Yes it is. Real pain to do though as they use white locktite. Worth doing though. Nice knife.

Love the channel, am looking for a pocket knife for edc. Around the £50 price tag, I like the look of this and the boker plus wasabi. As you have had hands on experience with both what would you say is the better?? Or would you recommend something else. I like the elegant style of these knifes with the boker just edging it in this department. 👍🏻👍🏻

The Wasabi for me, it feels less durable but is more fidgety, has nicer materials and looks better imo.

One of my dream knives. But I can't afford it, so I got a Yon Xanadu YX-622 instead 😬 If that design had a liner lock version it would be perfect for me.

I really like my yx622. The steel seems to be 14c28n like they claim. It's a cracking knife!

Depends on a few factors, but my favourite is probably the Chris Reeve Impinda (slightly sharpened down to shorten the blade a tad), out of the box, my go to is the Liong mah Traveller, perhaps a Hinderer slippy if you can find one in good condition.

I like my symmetry it has a fiddle factor of 10 😊 and am I the only one that flips it with my thumb .
