@Corduroykidd Ah cool 🤗 I just did this pattern for my partner's Christmas gift I crocheted the feet in 2mm black crochet thread to look more skinny, I added 2 rows of 8sc to the beak to be a bit longer, I did the black of thd eyes in double crochet and with a thinner hook. Also for the wings I literally just reversed the steps of the wing pattern with an extra slip stitch at the end and it made two (nearly) identical wings that are mirrored so you don't have to turn the one wing over and show the wrong side of ths stitches It's a super cute pattern and super easy to customize. I'm a advanced crocheter and to me a mark of a great pattern is how easy it is to tweak it without it not working anymore. Well done

I struggled so much (especially on the wings) but i love him so much. I think my main problem was the yarn I used whoch was so hard to see

@@physicslawss hmm, I don’t know, are you tightening the magic circle well enough? It is a bit of an awkward piece to work on. Are you sure you have the right stitch count for each round?

Yeah, working with black is tough, trying going outside in natural light or working right underneath a desk lamp. Lighting is key.

I have tried the beak a million times and it is so impossible. I'm frustrated that I spent money on this pattern for it to not come out right (and for it to be free on KZbin)
