I made it, but made it smaller to give as a teaching prop for my daughter who teaches French. I added a row of bobbles around the edge for some whipped cream along with the dollop in the middle. I’m lazy and attached the top and bottom together with the crust bobble and it turned out great!

This pattern fits very well the kind of door holders we use in Brazil. The difference would be the filling, with a "pillow" of sand. It would make lovely door holder!

I’m so excited tonight I was able to finish my pumpkin pie and boxed up in time to send to my new biological brother who will be 75 at the end of this week and he’s the pie maker in the family for his church and functions. Pumpkin pie..... I wish I knew what it tasted like, and here in Australia we mainly use pumpkin for baked pumpkin & mash pumpkin. I just love baked pumpkin done in the oven with your roast lamb. Sometimes I just cook up roast veggies. I love sweet potato & pumpkin the best. Do you guys have roast pumpkin when you have a roast ? ? ? ? ?🔴🔴🔴 Maybe on BOD LIFE you could show us how to cook pumpkin pie for all those who don't know how to make it or for those who have never had it before.? I want to thank you so much for this pie pattern. You just solved a dilemma I’ve had. Just this summer quite by accident I found out I have a biological half brother and a whole new set of family members I didn’t know I had. At the age of 20 I found out that my daddy who my mother was married to and when they divorced he got custody of me and of course I didn’t know he wasn’t my biological father until age 20 when my sister who was 9 years older than me ratted on my mom. I asked my mom about it and she told me his name. He knew about me and had met me when I was 2 years old. At 20 I was very shy and my bff called my biological father and pretended she was me. So we set up a place to meet. OMG I looked just like him and he had a son who is 7 years older than me so I had a new brother who is still in my life today. My bio father died on my birthday in 1979 (I’m a leap day baby so he passed on 2/28 my un-birthday) I believe that made it more special and I got to know him for 11 years. Now back to the reason for this pie pattern being the perfect pattern. This new 1/2 biological brother who has the same biological father as I do and he only found out 2 years ago who was his bio father. His son who is the same age as my son had him do an AncestryDNA and discovered who his bio father was. Through this they knew he had a 1/2 biological brother he didn’t know he had a 1/2 bio sister ME. Sorry this isn’t the readers digest version. My new nephew had me do the AncestryDNA which proved he was my nephew and his dad was my 1/2 bio brother who is 1 year and 3 months older than me. I’ve talked to him 3 times so far and I know his birthday is coming up this month and his wife next month. I am wanting to make them something for their birthdays. I was thinking of a hat for him and a throw for her because they live a few states up from me where it’s cold. Today he told me he loves the cold and rarely wears a jacket (there went my hat idea) although he told me he’s always made pies 🥧 for his church and get together so guess what I’m going to make for his birthday at the end of this month. This pie is so perfect. And now I’m looking for the perfect throw to make for his wife for her bd next month because she just had a hip replacement and fell and broke that hip again and then had a stroke. So I have about 3 skeins of Ombré yarn that I am going to use to make her a throw. Today my new nephew did the 22 mile walk for veteran suicide awareness because everyday their are 22 veteran suicides. He did this walk in memory of my husband who was a Vietnam Vet and took his life on Valentine’s Day 2012. Today my heart is so full. The love I feel from my new family is amazing.
