Yes, I love that head band. I call it an ear-warmer. Thx for reminding me. I frequently go back to your old vids. I’ve made so many tote bags with two strands of Red Heart at the same time for strength. I use colors that I want to use up. Still are great at the grocery store. Thx again and stay warm.🌷

One doesn't always have to be the hare - the turtle makes it and might savor every moment. ;-) I like the process - and finishing is not always the goal. Enjoying what I'm doing at any given time is the gift given to me by my beloved: "You don't have to finish, but you can never quit." Thank you, Clare - for sharing so much of yourself! I'd love to make it to Melbourne before I fly in as an angel. LOL My friend Jo lives in Melbourne Vic.

I adore you! I learned how to crochet when I was a kid. I never could crochet to a written pattern without getting stumped on a typo or a pattern error. Plus I didn’t like holes and gaps that some projects created. Inexperienced and not sure how to change the pattern to do what I wanted it to do.... I was constantly frustrated and really wanted to make stuff. KZbin crochet tutorials changed my world and I learned more than I ever could reading a pattern. I still don’t read patterns even though I understand how to read them now, it’s a waste of my time lol and I still get stumped on something. KZbin is the best visual resource that we have for learning and creating! I was that kid that needed you to “show me.” Explain it, show me, explain it again, show me again... let me try: clicks in brain. So when I picked it back up in 2004-ish, KZbin and BobWilson123 was my GO-TO. This was back in 2005-2010 and you still had your dog that was snoring at your feet. I made your beanie with the visor in 2012 or 2013? It was a hit. I gave it to some random woman at a restaurant, in the women’s bathroom, who simply raved about it. I was drunk and flirty. I would have given her my shirt if she wanted it ;) Anyway! You rock! Thanks for sharing your creativity and know that you have helped at least ONE ☝️ person to learn, understand, and master projects I never thought possible! Cheers mate!

I think I must have made about a dozen cosy cowls! Lots of family and friends have them from toddlers to older people. If I'm seen wearing mine I often get asked if I will make another. They make excellent gifts! I've also just finished my 4th Me shawl! I can't help it being my favourite so need them in all the colours!
