Yes! for row 9, all the sc stitches go in the back loops

So basically it means do one single crochet, and then one increase. Then, repeat those two steps 6 times. So it will look like this: sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc. And those are the stitches for that row!

Hi! So the pattern and rows will be the same, your whale just might turn out a little smaller! It should still turn out to look very similar!

I can’t for the life of me see the start of the color change. Where are you going in behind the fin? There is no back loop except on the fin itself?
