Even though I've ended my crochet projects with that slip stitch it still looks like it wants to come undone so I end up kind of making another small knot at the end of a project.

Hi, I did this method then snipped my excess yarn. Now I'm panicking. I followed a pattern to make roughly a 50" x 39" baby blanket with a LARGE amount of squares (think modern granny blanket) and tied every knot like this. After a countless number of hours and hard work, I finally finished and snipped all extra threads but now all of my knots are coming undone and my blanket is unraveling. How do I stop this madness? I don't know what to do as this is only my second blanket. I didn't know you had leave that extra bit. I want to cry. This was going to be an baby announcement present for my parents and my mom is the person I normally go to. :( Can you (or anyone) help me stop all of my knots from coming undone?

I'm sure you've figured it out by now haha but you have to weave the ends in, never ever snip

Virgil2U, so how should I tie off? I'm finishing my first project (a hat) and I don't want it to come undone.

Yes!!! It's what happened to me after snipping off that extra thread. I didn't have any problems until I snipped off that extra bit. You MUST tuck in any extra thread after knotting.
