just a Helpful Hint for commenters and next projects- if you end up making a bigger bag than original planning, use the access and make another seam to MAKE A POCKET!! waterbottles, mini umbrellas, or just a place to throw smaller items to easier find than in the main bag part!

totally valid about the straps, i just made a much smaller bag with like 5 strands of worsted held together. i made it with like that curved one piece thing you mentioned making, and that in it of itself was enough work to not even want to attempt a similar strap with just one strand!

I wish you could post the finished piece. I’m so curious! I’ve seen 5 stranded blankets but not anything else.

I am very impressed by all of the thought you put into the details; re the strap color lengths, and the half flowers on the edges. I wouldn't have thought of that. Also, why did I never consider recording my intros before I plan on starting my projects... genius.

Start saving up your money…the Stanwood 10oz yarn winder is THE BEST! And it can make huge cakes. It’s the top rated winder for a reason.

Michelle! I always love seeing one of your videos pop up in my feed. I've been binging your channel, and it's given me such inspiration for my crochet projects. It even motivated me to begin my very first crochet cardigan (I'm usually a blanket girlie.) This bag is beautiful! I love how the flowers look. 💕

Hey @MichelleJasek Soo your yarn winder is too small, that’s why you’re having issues with it, I think it can only hold like 100 grams or close to that. I saw it in one of Juan videos I believe…. He had the same one, and had the same issues I bought the blue metal one off Amazon and it’s great! I would recommend spending the money, I mean you’re spending a lot on the wool, you should get the right tools for the job. (Maybe 50$ CAD) 🌸🌸🌸 Thanks for the video… I could be projecting a bit too! lol I finally took the dive and. Bought the clover amour set 😮 Yikes, it was expensive without a coupon. 😊 What hooks do you prefer to use?

I love your videos! The bag is super cute! Straps are to wide, and bit too short. Also green yarn must be expensive, being 100% Peruvian wool. Very cute design of the retro flowers. Will buy pattern and cotton or bamboo yarn for this bag.
