oh my god! I can't believe I just found an entire channel dedicated to freezer meals.. Thanks so much, from the bottom of this busy first-time mama who is still trying to figure out how to feed her family

Thank you very much for the free Crocktober meals! I used to have 2 chest freezers, one for raw foods and the second for cooked foods. Then I gave one away because I need an upright freezer. I am looking forward to prepping, cooking and tasting all the meals. Much appreciated and thank you again! God bless you both.

I am also considering getting rid of my chest freezer and my small upright freezer and getting a larger upright freezer. I think it'll help me stay organized. 🤞

Don't you just love going out for a day of fun activities and then coming home to a house filled with the aroma of a yummy Crock Pot meal? Mmm Fall is in the air. It's like having your Mom cook for you. You feel loved. That is why the Crock Pot is still an oldy but a goody! Some people buy several from Thrift Stores or Yard Sales just for FM day! Or Holiday prep ahead. Or they are also great for Summer Time parties to keep all of that food warm. You gotta love your Crock Pots! TY ladies. Peace.

So ready for Crocktober!! I use my Instant Pot as a Crock-Pot. The Instant Pot crock setting on LOW = keep warm in the crock pot; NORMAL is low, and HIGH is medium/high in the crock pot. If choosing high in the IP add 15 mins for every hour of crockpot cooking, ex. a crockpot recipe calling for 3 hrs on high would be 3:45 on High in the IP. The normal IP setting cooks equivalent to the Crock-Pot low setting, so no need to adjust. Also, leave the pressure valve on VENTING, or use a glass lid if you have one. Do not pressurize.

Wow! Thank you for the instant pot tutorial!

Thanks - I was planing to try and make meals for two and thought I would use the IP to cook as it is smaller than trying the big crock pot

Try apricot jam in place of cranberry for the cranberry chicken.

Looks Delicious...😋 😋 😋 I would like to know the cost of the groceries to prepare all these meals..Im in the US
@FreezerMeals1013 ай бұрын
We are in Canada and what we've discovered is that grocery prices vary wildly from province to province and state to state so I can't give you a meaningful cost. We know that freezer meals save money and that the biggest cost is the meat. My suggestion to you is to watch flyers. If there is a big sale on ground beef, check out the ground beef recipes and make those. Then, when there is a big sale on chicken, pick up your chicken and make those recipes. It can be a bit pricey up front to buy 6 recipes' worth of chicken (I didn't actually go and count how many recipes are with chicken... It's a guess) but having those meals done and in your freezer, plus getting the chicken at a good price, PLUS skipping the drive-thru or delivery app because you're eating at home 🟰💲💲💲💲 in your pocket. Good luck! I hope it goes well for you! ❤️

do u guys have a new england claim chowder soap
@FreezerMeals1013 ай бұрын
We do not! I have heard of some people adding shrimp to our corn chowder but we don't have a clam chowder. Honestly, I don't think either of us like it very much so I don't think we've thought of doing it... but we can. For the greater good! hahaha! Have a great day!

Is there a way to put a hot or spicey thermometer with your recipes, I'm old and like some spice mut my husband is older and doesn't like much spice. all your recipes look so good,
@FreezerMeals1013 ай бұрын
In the club, we have "spicy" as a keyword so you can search for it or avoid it if you see it listed in your recipe. Like anything else with freezer meals, it's very customizable to your liking. You don't like much spice at your house? Put less in. Want to kick it up a notch? Add more. We often talk about ways we make the same recipe for Sharla's house and less spicy for our house. It's a case of finding your preference and adjusting it to your liking. It may need a bit of trial and error and maybe a big glass of milk on the side! But you'll find your groove. I just know it. Thanks for watching! ❤️

For the BBQ beef in a bun you should cook it then shred it.

❓ lentils dried or from a can? (can you even buy them in a can?) ❓ What are chili beans? ❓ is the tortellini dried (in a box)? I did look at the recipe using tortellini and I couldn’t tell if it used frozen or dried. My excuse for the other questions is that I got lazy. Thank you. ❤ your website!
@FreezerMeals1013 ай бұрын
Lentils are dried but rinsed before using, chili beans are chili style brown beans, and the tortellini is fresh but you can use frozen! Great questions! Thanks for watching! ♥️
