Sgt Al Powell is a national treasure. He goes undercover in New York to protect a foreign national, then 2 years later is instrumental in thwarting a terrorist attack at Nakatomi Plaza on Christmas. Amazing!

All he needs is a steady supply of twinkies. Had they sent Sgt Powell to Afghanistan in 2001 along with a container of twinkies he would have had that one wrapped up in a month or two.

Hogan did invent the character on a trip to New York, though the methos was loosely based on a real Australian bushman Arvids Blumentals. Many of the beats of the film were from Hogan's previous comedy sketches involving a similar bushman character.

Covid is just the distraction, while we struggle with masks or not, vaxx or not, employment or not our elected officials and bureaucrats behind the curtain are quietly removing our private property rights, our right to travel, our right to assemble, banning protest, our ability to use cash money and bringing in digital id and digital currency and now seizing peoples bank accounts. TOTAL ENSLAVEMENT ! Until the people wake up and you impact the World Economic Forum affiliated politicians and big businesses that run government and are supporting and driving the lock downs, nothing is going to change. The World Economic Forum, the United Nations UN Agenda 2030 and government controlled media are our biggest threats. Covid is the mechanism by which they are destroying the middle class and private/mom and pop businesses. Many of our government officials including Federal MP Chrystia Freeland, Conseritive Michelle 'Pronouns' Rempel, Federal NDP leader Jagmeet Singh and BC Premier John Horgan (and i am sure there are many more) are affiliated with the World Economic Forum (you will own nothing and be happy). What little democracy we have left is in the process of being subverted. Our elections are supposed to "feel" organic and grassroots but these people are groomed and then presented for us to "elect" and then they magically do the opposite of what we want them to do. They are going to tax you out of your car with $10 a litre gas and force you to live in their smart cities, when will you say ENOUGH?! The whole idea is to print money till they destroy people's savings through low interest and high inflation and collapse the dollar and bring in a one world digital currency, add to that more crushing debt for our grand kids to never be able to pay off. All that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.“ Edmund Burke [“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”] An evil enemy will burn his own nation to the ground to rule over the ashes.' - Sun Tzu IF this message resonates with you please share with others as i am shadow banned and can not make a direct comment. Thank you, Rain Coast. The bankers will ensure we stay in debt. The pharmaceutical companies will ensure we stay sick. The weapons manufacturers will ensure we keep going to war. The media will ensure we are prevented from knowing the truth. The government will ensure that all of this is done legally.

@junkbox_
@junkbox_ 6 ай бұрын
Family Matters was a spinoff of ABC's Perfect Strangers. The mother was Harriet and she worked at the Chicago newspaper office with Larry and his cousin Balki. I don't think Reginald was introduced until the spinoff series debuted but I could be wrong. If you know, let us know. Also, Family Matters was part of ABC's Friday night TGIF lineup which also included Perfect Strangers and Full House. Eventually Perfect Strangers wrapped and Family Matters continued with Full House, at this time Boy Meets World was introduced. ABC's TGIF line-up was tuned up to be Full House, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, and Step By Step. Eventually Full House wrapped and Family Matters, Boy Meets World, and Step By Step were joined by Billy which was a short-lived sitcom starring Billy Connely and David Galicki. Billy was canceled and replaced with Sister Sister. After Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Step By Step, and Sister Sister had been established for a while, ABC-Disney sold Fanily Matters to CBS where it ran for two seasons until it was canceled. ** NOTE -- Mark Linn-Baker, star of Perfect Strangers (Larry Appleton) also directed selected episodes of Family Matters and Step By Step, eventual successors to his show Perfect Strangers. Classic Friday night line-up, following the finale of Perfect Strangers [Eastern Standard Time]: 8:00PM - Full House 8:30PM - Boy Meets World 9:00PM - Step By Step 9:30PM - Billy(trial, partial season)/Sister Sister 10:00PM - 20/20

Love those movies and nostalgia how they document different places at different times. Love the Cab scene with Family Matters dad as the cab driver and Big Coca Cola sign in the background.

Love the 2st fist sound. Cross between a .22 short and a bullwhip. Its so funny that 99.9% of people dont know what a fist hit sounds like let alone all the breakable little bones in the hand if you do connect. Some movies are so funny! I do like this one.

Some people live the type of life where they dont give a fuck about how accurate sound effects are in silly little movies. Especially sound effects of violence. I dont know what my fist sounds like when it hits someone. Dont care. Got more important shit to worry about.
