It’s true. This video is probably in a lot of our lineups to please our conures. Mine have vocalized more and sooner than expected from augmenting my own training with playing others videos. Many of the words and short phrases that we teach them are the same so the videos reinforce them. It’s really a remarkable new training aid.

It all depends on the bird. You need to start them off in separate cages next to each other. Then introduce the Quaker to the Conure. But be prepared to keep them in separate cages just in case.

Yes I still have him. They need at least a couple of hours a day and a large cage with plenty of toys. Some are loud. They go through a period of squawking in the morning and evening but they are the more quiet parrot 🦜
