Enjoyable watch. I'm finding these outlying fells interesting - not only have I not walked them. I've never heard of most of them. Looking forward to the next.

no ill be honest.. ive heard of less than 5 of them i think but now going through them they are implanted.. nice quiet walks where ya dont have to fight for parking.. cheers for watching lad, tek care :)

Good call on the parking, I hate those single track drives in the Lakes. Some of these outlying fells don't seem to have many good paths to follow are a bit of a steep up on some of them. They still gave you some great views and that was a canny place to have a break. No way would I be jumping in that bog to claim that last Fell, not keen on joining those dead sheep! For you both to do a long walk like that and see only one other person in the Lakes is some achievement mind, cheers Alan

Aye i think you have to be a very keen bagger to put up with the paths on these rounds.. am estimating to be finished them by around November where i can relax knowing they are done with for now.. its interesting how Wainwright chose these fells... i asked dave during this round "do you think he ever even walked these outliers" cos some of them are nasty with tricky access.. but anyway still a nice break from the huge ascents.. cheers Alan thanks for watching :)

Love the remoteness and peace n quiet of the Shap Fells Dave. I only have 1 walk left to complete them. Funny you should mention Sallows, we were over there on Friday and wild camped just below Sour Howes.

al have to revisit those fells.. was a wet miserable day last time so i just tended to agree with what everyone else has said about it.. must be a quiet camping place.. thanks for watching Tony, cheers :)

Eh up Marra, belting walk that mate. Loving these outlying fells. I did one last year, call ed Ulthwaite Rigg. Did it when I did Grey Crag and Tarn Crag. No paths and loads of bog to get to it, and when I got there, there was feck all in terms cairn so like you, I had to make my own with my walking poles! 🤣 All the best mate
@daveostlemountainman6 ай бұрын
I remember doing Grey Crag and thinking at the time it was the most remote ive ever felt.. Ulthwaite Rigg is part of an 11 fell, 12 mile walk were doing on fri 21st if ya fancy a nice casual day out :) cheers for watching lad, tek care
