CSNY's music will live forever. They may be aging (we all are!), but as they sing I hear the original cuts of these wonderful songs! These were the songs that many of us lived our young and sometimes difficult lives to - most of us survived, many of us trived. Still odd to see your heros look so old, even more weird to look in the mirror and discover you too are an old man. These songs make me feel 17 again.

I'm sorry sir, but I beg to differ on that. I mean I appreciate their music as much as the next guy. And obviously I've tuned in to hear the concert. But I have to say I'm really disappointed hearing Steven Stihls . Unfortunately his voice has wained. The old Harmony just isn't there anymore. Given that's what CSN was always known for and good at, It's so sad to see / hear that it's no longer there... I'm glad that the boys were able to put their differences aside and once again join each other on stage. I'm thankful for that And I hope they themselves view it as a high point in such a long successful career... Thank you gentlemen for all the wonderful music throughout the years

The reason why this music endures is because it is not "entertainment." It is a message to the soul. It speaks about freedom, joy, peace, love, truth, beauty, and all that makes life meaningful. If more artists approach their art as a message to the soul, rather than as entertainment, I think it will transform the world. That is what CSNY have done: they have launched transformation. They were not alone in that. Others, especially in the late 60s and very early 70s, were doing the same. Even still until now, there are artists such as Muse who continue to approach music in that way. Neil Young is still very actively writing and transforming, and I think Graham Nash, Steven Stills, and David Crosby are, or can be, too. I share Neil's hippie dream, still.

I'm russian and so much love only SLAYER , but for me CSNY is real american music. And I so much love this awesome band - from the word "shock" with the vocal polyphony and wonderful harmony of three acoustic guitars that these guys have achieved. For some reason, this group is rarely mentioned by the music media, but these are truly legends of rock music who have not changed their worldview, despite the many musical trends that have arisen over 50 years. This band is not even a planet, it is a star whose rays have spread in all directions of rock! They're great grandfathers!

Thanks for posting this great concert. It must have been filmed on or close to the world tour when I saw them play in Auckland, New Zealand. Older, still seeking wisdom (like all of us) and producing a fantastic night of superb music, harmonies, guitars, nostalgia ....... and hope! I first heard them when the music (and later film) of 1969's Woodstock Concert reached New Zealand and I was at high school. That was the beginning of a lifetime of enjoyment listening to their songs and the additions brought by Neil Young, in their collaborations as CSN & Y. R.I.P. David Crosby - solo and in combination, along with Stills, Nash and Young, you have all left us with a wonderful legacy of songs that will never fade.

I saw them here, at the Greek Theater, for their second or third performance -- and we were all so much younger. I flew 1250 miles to catch the concert with my wife. They were young and fabulous; now they are old and very much less than, well, you know. But they are icons, legends, and they don't have to be fabulous. It's so good to watch this and look back over their lives and careers over the last forty years, and, of course, mine. Time and decline are unstoppable, but grace lives forever.
@maryjvanderwerken31922 жыл бұрын
I think they are still fabulous; not young, on-fire, burn-the-place-down fabulous; but older, a bit mellow fabulous. I am astonished that they are still so good, after putting each other thru so much hell for so many decades.
