In all the years I've listened to CSN I've never, NEVER once, heard them sing a decent live version of a studio recording. Just goes to show that anybody can be made to sound good using electronic doodads etc. Having said that, Steven Stills is a consummate guitarist, one of the best there is/was.

I hear what you are saying (get it?)... and with that said, I remember at age 12 being disappointed by the Airplane live in concert in '68 or so. It didn't sound like the record dammit! (then there's acts like Bonnie Raitt who comes alive in concerts not as much on tape). Etc, etc, etc.....
