More info: The Crosman Prospect gives you a PCP air rifle that's perfect for precision shooting because of its adjustability and convenient features. It gives you speeds of up to 1000 fps in .177 and 900 fps in .22, so you get the power and accuracy you need for successful small game hunting, target shooting, and pesting.
This air rifle gives you excellent accuracy shot after shot thanks to the regulator, and it gives you a sharp and predictable break because of the two stage trigger that also has a manual lever safety. Plus, you get adjustable features for a custom tune because of the externally adjustable hammer spring tension and the transfer port power wheel on the side of the receiver.
The Crosman Prospect gives you precision because of the rifled barrel, and shots that are quieter than you'd expect from a rifle of this power level because of the shrouded barrel, which also has 1/2x20 muzzle threads so you can add an external moderator. This air rifle also gives you an all weather synthetic stock that features textured rubber inserts on the forearm and grip so it's ready for any conditions.
You'll appreciate the precision you get from every shot because the Picatinny scope rail combines with the height adjustable textured rubber cheek rest to give you the best eye alignment every time you shoot.

Crosman had to do something after the dumpster fire with the Icon. Although to their credit, they did make things right with the $300 compensation. This gun looks to be a lot better. Regulated with a side lever and a power wheel. Pretty accurate too. Great review Nate!

Thanks for sharing Nate. I was curious about this one. It appears to be the same Shanghai Air based platform as the Barra 1100Z and the Beeman Commander/Chief series. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the parts interchange. It's a little pricey imo but I suspect that will come down.

I am not sure why crossman did not put a biathlon handle on the sidelever in 2024. I am sure there will be plenty of aftermarket mods. And that prs butstock if it was take down like sako s20 would be superb.

Funny enough i was just looking at the original Crosman 2100 classic my mate had one in UK probably the most powerful air gun you could get back then in UK ..But this one looks proper nice you could defo kill a few things with this thing

How did you get 4.5 oz. Of trigger pull on this gun? I screwed the adjustment screw to the end and only got 4.5 pounds trigger pull 🤔

What ive realized is that this is basically a uniform chinese PCP gun kit, that different manufacturers then use to adapt into their own stock, trigger, etc.....this gun is the same as the Barra 1100z, same as the Beeman Chief, etc. probably multiple other ones. You can tell by the tank/barrel shroud/thread cap , its a dead giveaway

alot of pcp air guns can shoot like an FX M3 at 50 yards, where the 1500.00 difference in price comes into play is 100yards plus.

I have an unregulated marauder in 25 cal do you think it's worth the money to have it worked over I mean with a regulator to clean up my shot strings now I get about 5 high power shots then it goes to hell I bet I haven't shot two tons of pellets through it and I have had it for like 8 or 9 years I did a little small game hunting with it for the first year and it's mostly just sat in the corner of my closet

I keep asking everyone if we are still going to be able to buy parts for our Crosman / Benjamin air guns now that Gamo owns the Company but no one will Answer me !
