Amanda, you may already know this but you have reactive attachment disorder due to the neglect and a abuse you endured even before you were 3. That’s why you “self sabotage” and push ppl away when you love them. I am a therapist and RAD is treatable. You need a good trauma therapist who uses EMDR and IFS therapies. None of what happened to you as a child was your decision. Don’t try to make sense of crazy. You have a lot to live for, and deserve good things even if you’ve done things you feel are bad as an adult… you live in trauma brain. Your decisions are not yours they are purely survival with maladaptive coping mechanisms. That being said you are accountable for your actions so go get the trauma therapy and start thriving!! Find a CCS program. Don’t ever give up looking for the medical treatment you need.

Her biggest regret should have hands down been bringing kids into the world only to abandon them. Keep telling yourself “ oh there in great homes I don t need to worry about them!” You ve done to them what your mom did to you. So sad for those poor kids!

Lovely, sex is absolutely your norm. And know its not sex, it was rape. Rape was your normal. It's good you can take care of yourself but nuture and tenderness and care and guidance are NOT limited to children. Please redirect your strength to help yourself change and let others help you. You are beautiful and deserve love, bigger than romance. You deserve to know who you are.

Another sad story.. my biggest question is she's been in therapy and not one therapist told her grandad was just a pe D o end of story! It wasn't because Granny cldnt do it right he likes children ,he's a monster predator!

I think it’s different because she made sure the kids were in good homes & situations verses the mother who left her and her siblings in the cold, dark place at 8 months old 😳

These videos are so real, difficult to watch and I would imagine somewhat therapeutic for the person being interviewed. When someone wants to hear your story it makes you feel important

Her child hood was horrific! Horrific!!!! I have daughters. I couldn’t even imagine. My husband and I don’t have much of a social life or many date nights. Mostly family outings or family events. But - stories like these scare me so much. Honestly can’t trust anyone with your kids. Praying for this young lady. I am so sorry you went through so much

First story that made me legitimately cry my eyes out. It hurts my heart. The way men just used and abused her all of her life and she still blames herself. I wish her so much love, hope, and healing in her life.

It hurts to admit it that I can relate to her about guilt the shame and feeling like everything is and always has been my fault. Fortunately for me he had a heart attack and died after he got caught, I never had to look at him again. That still doesn't help that I'm messed up mentally for the rest of my life. I was only three then I'm 36 now.

@umyea215845 ай бұрын
Maybe it helps her try to make sense of why it happened to her....idk. Our minds tell us some crazy shit, especially when one survived a childhood like hers. ❤️

It's very common. Many victims of SA don't understand the sickness of pedophiles. It is complicated. Do some research.

It doesn’t sound like that idea came from her. Her abuser used the idea that he was suffering from some terrible neglect to manipulate a small child into doing what he wanted. He had no right to do that.
