Welcome Back!! This is Episode 2 of my Bangalore to Ladakh Road Trip. In this episode I started my journey from Delhi to Jammu which was about 600 km via Chandigarh and Pathankot
It was extremely tough for me to travel from Delhi to Jammu in extreme heat conditions where the temperature was over 50 Degree Celsius with extreme heat waves!! But as the old said - Where there is a will, there is a way!
Crossing all the hurdles on my way, I finally reached Jammu

Two Cities….Seriously? Firstly, Jammu and Kashmir is a Union Territory. Jammu is a city, not Kashmir. Secondly, I crossed the J&K check post hence I said I am riding my motorcycle in Kashmir - I referred to Union Territory here.

@@AshTrails Bro. You dont know the demography of J&k You entered Jammu division from Pathankot Punjab. You entered in Kathua District of Jammu Division not Kashmir. this problem is with INDIANS they think Jammu is in kashmir we Dogra have different Identity, different Culture, Different food its really sad for us that INDIANS thinks Kashmir is Jammu but its not... Other thing aside Welcome to J&K

Ash.. did you carry only tank bags and saddle bags?? Or you also carried extra gallons like carrying petrol n all. Was interested to know about the bike setup… also there r possibilities that bike might break down or some damage in the parts as the conditions of the road are harsh. How do u manage with that ?

I carried saddle bags, tail bag, tank bag and trail packs to carry extra fuel. I carried a pair of tubes, front and rear both. I also carried toolkits, including tube puncture kit, tyre inflator etc. I also carried common spare parts like brake, clutch wire, chain and sprocket, brake pads etc. My luggage was mostly related to bike maintenance. I carried less clothes. In trips like these where I ride solo, long trips, it’s important to carry light luggage. But most importantly, I carry a lot of spare parts/maintenance gears. Luckily in this trip my bike was fine, not even a single puncture. Thanks for watching!
