It did my heart good to see you coming home after riding all over the world with you, I'm gonna have to buy a bottle of Portuguese wine to celebrate. There's a lot of motorbike travel vlogs, some on really small bikes, some on the biggest money can buy, (Hey, whatever fits your purpose or turns your crank), I've always enjoyed how you were on "the right tool" for the job and enjoying the history, culture, and geography of where you were instead of just seeing how fast you can get from point A, to point B. A minha mãe é do Sobral, a minha avó assim como tenho tios ainda. Eu sou um apaixonado do Sobral ( talvez um dos poucos netos que gosta tanto do Sobral), actualmente moro em Braga ( minho) mas sempre que me lembro vou até ao Sobral. achei engraçado um individuo a percorrer o mundo de mota e finalmente ver que é do mesmo lugar que eu, um lugar tão pequeno como o Sobral Pichorro. Thx for taking us along.👍 Although it wasn't one of your nicest rides it shows respect that you still shared some footage. It is what riding is about. You can not have it all the time. So now and then also the not so great roads have to be ridden. A few of your video's back i went to my boss the next day. So next year in May,June and Juli i will sadle up and go for the long trip. After watching your vid i was sitting at the front of my woodstove with a coffee and thinking to myself that i needed to start planning. One hour later i made the decision to ride trough Turkey to Iran and visit it again. Such a rich culture with so much to experience. I can hardly wait until next year and hope the next couple of months will pass very quicly. So in a manner of speaking "it is your fault". But you are forgiven.🤭 Thx, and ride safe.🙏

Well done. I totally understand how your feeling. I did the same thing finding my home in Amsterdam after having left it being only 6 1/2 years old and finding it on foot through the city on my own with no map just relying on memory when i was 28. One cant describe the feeling and the need to have done it. Its a defining moment. Well done.

I'm a little envious right now. I'm supposed to set off next week Thursday but I've cancelled my trip to Olhão, which I was calculating on doing in two days as part of an iron butt challenge, burning up motorway and coughing up for tolls all the way - I've got the two toll transponders used in France and Iberia. I just cannot chance dodging two bullets - one is the Covid issue, as nobody will stop me heading 'home' from England but returning may be problematic and the other is Brexit as there are bound to be all sorts of issues returning and I don't want to be amongst the trailblazers for whatever is going to be the norm, returning to work in early January. Faro motorcycle rally is definitely on my cards for 2021. Blue skies and happy motorcycling while you're in Portugal, Pedro!
