I used to have a 90 SC with 1 15" sub in a 5th order box on a punch 75 with 6 1/2 phase linear components in the doors and rear pockets on a punch 45 ran thru a concord graphic eq and Pioneer premier head unit with the 1st 12 disc changer in Tx. Man i miss those days. Bo and Wilson at R and D sounds did the install. Wilson was the national champ back then, with 20 12s in a mustang.

Check to see if the RCA is lightly tweeked, is so, when you insert the RCA it may be shorting on the case.

that's what I would check first, also, hook up the speaker before the RCA and make sure the output does not have DC voltage (indicating a bad channel). maybe try a different set of RCA's

This morning in Ohio I'm at the gas station standing at the pump with three other guys looking at the street at a old 50s Bel Air gasser drag race car that said Junkyard Dog on the side.
