I feel like the biggest thing that isn't taught by others are those motion steps you broke down on the wing when they started going full speed. Being able to cross, take a number of steps while the ball floats then decide what next is huge.

NXT Nick because you only start counting the 2 steps as the dribble ends. Basically if you delay your catch you can take as many steps as you want until the ball has been gathered. Once the ball has been gathered you have 2 steps. Watch his step back hesi video

“Take as many steps as you want when the ball is live” Is that new? I never knew you can do this? 🤔
@tinguspingus4645 жыл бұрын
the ball is LIVE meaning you haven't picked it up yet
@rshinn87765 жыл бұрын
Live dribble is just that, live. Reason being you could take those steps and decide to put the ball back on the floor and continue your dribble. There are no rules in any league limiting steps while maintaining a live dribble. You only kill your dribble with some form of gather (cupping, palming, cuffing, carrying, and of course putting both hands on it). The steps taken after your last dribble, but before your gather are not counted towards your 2 legal steps.
@Lacabradelmundo5 жыл бұрын
It's crazy how many people don't know that the count doesn't start until you pick up the ball smh
@Yajawbroni5 жыл бұрын
