I feel the need to give you a gigantic thank you. In the last few months ive been thrust into the position of caregiver for my diabetic father. A role that i will happly take for all the things hes done for me. Your videos have showed me the importance of foot care for a diabetes patient. On top of that ive been able to greatly improve the health of his feet directly from watching your videos. We have regular foot bath and clippings amd that trick you use with the gauze as a mild abrasive have gotten his feet looking as normal as we could possibly hope. My goal is to keep him from needing the drastic interventions that we see in your videos amd you've given me the tools to do that for him. We will forever be grateful. Thank you so much doc!

My parents both smoked. I came home from Hi School as a latch key kid. There were cartons of cigarettes' all over the house, it seemed to me. So I could have started smoking as there was NO one to stop me. But, I didn't, and wasn't even tempted. There was also beer in the house, and I didn't touch that either. I'm so happy I never did any of those things as I prevented a lot of serious health problems in my life. Hopefully a young person will see this video and it will make them think twice about smoking. COPD is life threating.

I've used sandpaper on my feet for many years and have had excellent results. I use 220 and 320 on skin and nails. I was diagnosed with diabetes a few years ago and am very careful with my ministrations. Your program was discovered several months ago and I have learned a lot about footcare.; thank you.

I have a wonderful husband who is 70 and unfortunately has Copd, CRF just about to start dialysis and progressive neuropathy of unknown aetiology. He’s usually sensible but tonight I heard him go all quiet in the bathroom. I went in to see if anything was wrong and there the big gallumph was trying to cut a callus on the bottom of his foot with a razor blade 😱🤬. I said some bad words after gathering all the blades into the trash. I bought him an electric razor to abode cuts. I asked politely what did he imagine he was doing and he said I had to stop fretting as he didn’t feel any cuts! He doesn’t like the chiropodist in the town and it didn’t occur to him to go to the one 3 miles away. I’m not allowed to touch his feet as I tickle when I touch them. Let’s just say he will go to the chiropodist in the next town on pain of injury. Caused by me!

He is definitely lucky.. I ended up with covid pneumonia and was air lifted to another hospital on life support for 28 days & then went to rehab for another 5 weeks. Even now 2 years later I am having trouble breathing and all sort of other health problems. Please please tell your patients not to press their luck with health issues because it can certainly develop into major health issues I am only 53 years old

I don't understand why my doctor or when i went to Cook County/John Stroger they didn't take a piece of my nail to the lab to see what was going on. My best guest it cost money to send things to the lab. Idk I've also seen on youtube where a podiatrists do medical pedicures. That blew my mind didn't know that was such a thing.
