Loved it almost as much as the book. Here the only "problem" is that Crowley removes the big rubber gloves that would have "protected" him, so it would only add to the believe it was real holy water.

I actually read a snippet of an interview with Neil Gaiman where he said a second season is very possible. Apparently he and Terry Pretchett had started making some notes and plans for a sequel called "The Neighbor of the Beast." I'm not sure where the interview was originally from, but Gaiman mentions COVID and productions being on hold, so it's current. Here's hoping.

Y'know, he might've actually fooled Hastur if he had just kept those gloves on as he held the plant mister. Also, why didn't he just take the tape out of the machine?

He considered putting the tape in his car to transform Hastur into Freddie Mercury but considered that too cruel and besides he needed 3 weeks for the transformation to occur.

@@ABalloonInNeed really? He only contemplates it in the book, but decided against it because he didn't have any more holy water to hand and wasn't keen to go looking for more as "getting ahold of Ligur's terminal bath had been dangerous enough"

@@ZoeMalDoran yeah, the radio drama only recreates the dialogue (not the narration, like an audio book would) so a few things were changed or added so it flowed better in radio format. IIRC, Crowley gets out of the answering machine, removes the tape, then he wonders if there's any holy water left inside the bucket. Then the the bucket makes a "tink* noise, followed by sizzling, then Hastur screaming😂

I love and hate the holy water bit. I love he uses it in a bucket trap. I hate that he is smart enough to prep the spray bottle as a bluff but not clever enough to put some holy water in it. He has gloves.
