I miss this. This album was perfect. I don't care about softer or harder music. But what I do care about is passion, feeling, work ethic, diversity. This album had all of that. There was so much passion and feeling in all of these songs. It didn't sound like it was thrown together and rushed. And there isn't another band that sounds like this. There will never be another Crown The Empire. As a Singer/Songwriter myself, the lyrics are beautiful in every song. Retrograde, there's none of that. I don't feel anything towards the songs. Hoping for another change in Crown The Empire. Hoping it's just an identity crisis and they get it fixed.

Nøt Jøsh Dun I 100% agree with you, and I've been listening to Retrograde more and more lately, and my opinion has changed. My problem isn't the lyrics anymore, it's the music behind it. The way it's recorded. When I watch them live, I feel everything that they say, but with all the layers over Andy's and Dave's voices in the recordings, I can't feel it. The songs sound so much better live. The way they've recorded the songs, I can't hear their raw sound, and I don't put that on Crown The Empire, I put that on Rise Records. I apologize for posting a comment that sounded ignorant, I should've done some more research, gave the album more of a chance. Thanks though ^_^
