I dont know if its just me, but I feel like this song, in the metaphorical sense, means that WE are johnny. We wanted so much in life, and we wanted to be someone, but we sacrificed so much that in the end we were nothing but another clone. Then, someone comes to you and tells you that you can be what you always wanted without working towards it, all you have to do is give him something precious to you, i.e. your soul. Then, he betrays you, taking your "soul" and leaving you with less than you had before, finally realizing you should've worked your ass off instead of sacrificing everything and then thinking you could get anywhere without work. Like I said, metaphorical sense.

Andy isn't really screaming. He is still doing clean vocals, just a lot louder. The only reason it might sound like he is screaming is because he starts to tense up his vocal cords more at the end to where it gets that "screaming" sound. :)

They totally only recorded this in a lower tuning so that Andy's voice could be sang in a lower key. Singing high is pretty strenuous and by doing this they will be able to pull off this version of the song live completely flawless. THEY DID THIS FOR YOU GUYS.

Let's get this straight. There are three versions to this song. The original on Limitless, the music video one which is different due to David has vocals on it, then this which sounds amazing. Dave was not involved in the original version or in Limitless at all. Then he was in the Johnny Ringo music video, then The Fallout, and so forth.

The Re-Issue is so much like their live sound. The reason the re-record is because they have changed. Everyone's input into what they want changed isn't going to change anything. This is going to be how they sound on the new album which is supposed to drop in the Spring. So get used to it. They are different, love it or don't listen to the new stuff. Anyone who has seen them live will agree that this is how they sound now; Dark, Deep, Powerful. They aren't teenagers anymore (except for Andy). They have matured and everyone needs to know that.
