I greatly enjoy all the reissued versions as much, if not more than the original versions. It's really a matter of preference in my opinion. I really enjoy David's screams more than anyone else in the band, and I like how most of the reissued versions feel instrumentally heavier to accompany his deeper vocals.

Earl Tan Andy's voice is better but the screams (I forgot who his name is) is... well, I prefer Andy's since his screams sounds more like death or black metal growls and those sounds better, to my ears at least. I've never been too fond of the new guy's kind of scream. I avoid them most of the time lol. But well, what does it matter anyway. It's a good music.

The quality is so much better,the singing is alot more mellowed out than trying to sing as high as possible for the studio but i prefer this because its more true,the screams are as good as always and just they've generally done a good job at this reissue its a clean slate. That's my opinion, good job guys!

For everyone saying that this is shit and Andy doesn't sound the same... Look, if he sounded exactly the same, there would be no reason for a re-issue (which if you listen to Lead Me Out of the Dark.. You know he still got it). Besides, this is great for people that haven't got lucky enough to hear CTE yet and can now buy them both the EP and full album for only $10... Also, this means they are definitely going to play the songs in Concert with Dave the Sickest screamer out there. This shit is refreshing and CTE is and will always be the best. (In My Opinion)

Why is everyone dogging on MAGIXCAL's opinion. Jeez. Respect his opinion. I love Crown The Empire so I don't think any of their stuff is shit, but this is kind of a let down. I think they should've created a new album instead of re-creating what was already amazing. Andy's vocals are a bit... uhm what do you cal it... not autotuned but whatever. I'm really infatuated with the reissue. Although I do still prefer the original, but this just shows how much they have matured as a band. If you are a true fan of this band you would understand that they have changed. So don't say it sucks, it's merely proof that that have matured allot and have found a new sound. :) Keep up the amazing work guys! You are without a doubt one of my favorite bands!

There are 2 things I don't like about the reissue, one is that they removed when Andy's voice d pulls like a half scream while he's singing, and that they removed all of Andy's screams. Feel like there are places where his screams would have sounded better rather then having Dave redo ALL of the screening

If the original EP hadn't been released, then it for sure would have been awesome. but since its being compared to another release of the same songs. The different sound will just throw people off especially if they loved the original EP. So they are still good versions, it will just getting used to for fans who loved the old EP.
