How to make a dang infinite looping background in Flash

Tutorial for Flash CS4 and up. Made in Flash CC. Not made for people with zero Flash experience.
Looping, scrolling backgrounds and nightmares of seeing the same cactus every .04 seconds.

3:24 I think that’s not the right way to say it, Adobe is vector based, there are no pixels, you should’ve said “make sure it’s in EXACTLY the same place, even a little off to the right and left could make your animation jump!” I’m aware that there’s also a bit map, but I think most people use vector for a clean look. Sorry, I think I needed to point that out :P

Animate in blender, it's a thousands times harder so you give up a thousand times faster so you can do other stuff. Like games, or eat, or go outside, or go outside and get mauled by a bear.

you don't really need to know how to draw that much to animate in Flash/Animate, as it has a lot of assists, you just need to know how to design a character.

thANK YOU! I needed this so much for one of my scenes. below is completely unrelated to the video I'm just spouting frustrations while I try to finish this darn animation. The thing I hate most about adobe animate is that there's no option for multiply or cell-shading. Why??? I have these shaded, lighted, ugly but at least backgrounds with a ton of values and then there's my cat who's completely flat. I could technically cell-shade, but buckets fill ON the lineart layer so I end up drawing the shading to fill in over my lineart. I'm new to this program but adobe tutorials haven't shown any evidence of cell-shading or filling on a different layer, and my animation class teacher hasn't mentioned it. This should be like, a basic addition to a program about animating drawings, or a basic tutorial.
